The Role
The primary purpose of the Research Governance Manager role is research governance oversight for human research proposals submitted for ethical approval at Bendigo Health. It involves secretariat support for the Bendigo Health Human Research Ethics Committee (HREC), which meets at least ten times per year. In line with the requirements of the National Statement on Ethical Conduct in Human Research 2023 the Research Governance Manager not only processes applications for ethical approval of projects but also monitors and audits approved projects over the life of the research, and takes a lead in providing training, support and advice to researchers developing their research proposals. The Research Governance Manager is expected to support Bendigo Health’s Research Plan in developing strategic partnerships and collaborations to build research capacity and to work actively with colleagues and partners in leading improvements to the implementation of best practice research governance at Bendigo Health.

The Associate Research Fellow (level A) is suited to an emerging researcher and will engage collaboratively to conduct high-quality research, scholarship and creative activities generating high impact outputs, with mentorship from leaders within the research team.
The Research Fellow (level B) position is suited to a Researcher who will initiate, design and conduct productive, high-quality research, scholarship and creative activities generating high impact outputs in their discipline area.

Research Data Officer

In this position you will play a critical role in supporting our Global Adolescent Health Group’s research group to advance evidence to understand and improve menstrual health.
You will support the coordination and maintenance of study databases for the Adolescent Menstrual Experiences and Health Cohort (AMEHC) study in Bangladesh, following study protocol and ethical requirements. You will coordinate the maintenance of cohort participant records, support the preparation and processing of participant surveys, undertake data quality checks, and prepare and manage research data sets for analysis. Travel in Asia Pacific may be a component of this role.
This is a 2-year fixed term position with possibility of extension. We are open to candidates seeking part time or full-time options (0.6 -1.0 FTE). About the role
The Clinical Trials Coordinator will support current and upcoming trials by working with colleagues and in collaboration with a dynamic multidisciplinary team to ensure high quality of data collected and successful trial management. - Undertaking high-quality health economics research including discrete choice experiments and possibly other forms of stated preference research, including, literature review, survey design, experimental design, data management, discrete choice analysis, policy analysis.
- Support, and may lead, applications for research and creative activities, including applications for external competitive funding, external funding for commercialization and translation activities and other funding demonstrating sustained efforts.
- Build a national reputation, based on a growing, focused body of work recognised for quality, excellence and impact and a growing track record of timely delivery of outcomes for industry partners.
- Contribute to Deakin community and its effectiveness via local engagement and citizenship activities

Pharmacist – Clinical Trials & Operations (Grade 2)

About the Role
The Pharmacy Team is looking for an AHPRA Registered Pharmacist with at least 3 years of hospital practice who would like to gain experience in the Clinical Trials (CT) area based in Ballarat. This position consists of 0.6FTE in the CT team, with training provided by our Senior CT pharmacist and 0.4 FTE in the Operations Team. The exact distribution will depend upon your experience and pharmacy service staffing requirements and may vary depending on service demands.
